We have been offered the opportunity to participate in a charity event with BabySwags.com and Six Flags Great America. As a special Mother's Day celebration entitled "Stars for a Day, Moms for a Lifetime", 60 women and children who are victims of domestic violence will be receiving baskets similar to those sent out to celebrities. Sew Cute by Me Designs will be providing special pillows and blankets for these baskets. As a volunteer at a local center specializing in counseling for victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse, I am particularly excited about this event! I am looking forward to making these women and children feel as special as possible on this day, and I feel blessed to be able to participate in this event.

Baby Swags honors new and expecting moms with a special gift this Mother's Day. Together with their clients, Baby Swags provided sixty moms with a swag bag packed full of products created by entrepreneurial women.
Plainfield, Il - May 1, 2008 - Six Flags Friends, the philanthropic arm of Six Flags, Inc. and Baby Swags have teamed up with Healthy Families of America to deliver the ultimate Mother's Day gift package for sixty expectant or new Moms. The gift bags provided contain various products for mom and baby that have been created or invented by entrepreneurial women. In addition to these gift bags, all Mom's will receive a ticket to the Six Flags of their choice.
